After being closed for a couple of months due to COVID-19, River Fortune is reopening today (May 28th). The Chinese takeaway is the second in Kendal to reopen, after Ruby‘s opened around a month ago.
Their social distancing rules are a maximum of 4 people in the takeaway at any one time, and only one person from each household to enter the building. They have plenty of space in their car park and on the (very quiet) road outside, so it is easy to queue outside if needed. They still only accept cash, so it would be a good idea to arrive with correct change for payment, or just leave a tip.
