British Raj

British Raj is a popular Indian takeaway in Kendal at 76 Kirkland, opposite the Holy Trinity Church car park and close to the river. Their menu comprises of all the traditional British Indian favourites such as Korma, Balti, and Bhuna dishes, as well as some more unusual specialities.

The Raj is our regular Indian, and I have been happy each time I’ve ordered there, though I must admit I’m no expert when it comes to Indian food. Food is prepared quickly and it’s always hot when I get home.

British Raj is on Facebook, though the last update was in 2015 so it might not be the best place to get your British Raj news.
